Enjoy a Slice of British Pie Week at Five Valleys

7 March 2022

Whether you’re a classic beef or a vegan Mooless Moo, make sure to head down to Five Valleys Shopping Centre between March 7-13 to enjoy British Pie Week.

From the warm beef, bacon, and red wine filled Moolin Rouge at Pieminister, to chilled handmade rabbit and pork pies at Waghorne’s Butchers, there really is a pie for everyone within Five Valley’s Indoor Market.

In addition to the tasty selection on offer, Pieminister has launched a competition challenging customers to create their own pie during Pie Week, with loads of goodies up for grabs for the winner including a trip to PMHQ in Bristol to watch the pie being made.

Molly Wise, Marketing and Events Manager at Five Valleys, said: “If you’d like to get involved, head down to the company’s counter in the market to buy a pie and you’ll receive your entry form.

Pieminister and its emphasis on sustainability, giving back to community initiatives and the higher animal welfare standard of its suppliers is something we really value here at Five Valleys and it sets a real precedent for traders within our market.

Pieminister’s vegan Mooless Moo which includes jackfruit ‘steak,’ craft ale, and black pepper is one of eight pies which works towards the company’s goals of decreasing beef’s share within the businesses sales portfolio each year.”

Molly added: “Don’t forget to head down to the Indoor Market and on 11th March during British Pie Week, you can also enjoy our Night Market open from 6-8pm, where you can listen to the sounds of the Bad Films Band as you sample the delicious selection on offer.”
