Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud has strengthened the centre management team this week – with graduate trainee Louise Emery joining the company as more stores and businesses prepare to open.
Louise joined the Five Valleys team with a strong background in customer service, operations and retail and will work with the Five Valleys Centre Manager Dionne Moore as well as Operations Director for Dransfield Properties, Medi Parry Williams.
She has been appointed as Assistant for Markets and Tenant Liaison, as the centre prepares for a phased launch of its new indoor Borough Market style market. Trader liaison and support will be a key part of Louise’s new role.
Louise, who is from Stroud, is looking forward to taking on a new challenge and playing her part in the regeneration of the town centre shopping destination which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
She said: “This is a really exciting time to be joining the Five Valleys team. The market is going to be a fantastic addition to Five Valleys and the whole town centre and I’m looking forward to working with all the traders.”
The market will bring a range of high-quality artisan food traders to the heart of the town. When the centre was first bought by owners Dransfield Properties in 2018 they identified a need for a line-up of good quality local traders and developed a plan for their new “Borough Market style” indoor market.
Dionne said: “We are really pleased to welcome Louise to the team, it’s a busy time for Five Valleys and she takes up her new role in the same week that we have also seen the first of our market traders open up for business.”
Traders include Marrows Fruit and Veg which opened this week as well as a full line up of other artisan traders and food to go stalls. Fashion boutique Sub Couture also opens next week at Five Valleys in a newly refurbished unit on King Street.
Five Valleys is owned and managed by Dransfield Properties Ltd. To keep up to date with news and events at Five Valleys visit
