NEW STROUD BOUTIQUE SET FOR JULY OPENING

23 June 2020

The team behind one of Notting Hill’s best-known independent fashion boutiques are counting down to opening their new Stroud store next month.

Sub Couture is owned by husband and wife Derek and Louise Aiken who have worked in the fashion business for more than 25 years. They have developed their own style from their Kensington Park Road boutique and are now looking forward to bringing their fabulous fashion range to Stroud in July.

The new King Street store is part of the redevelopment of the Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud and as well as women’s fashion it will stock a stunning range of art and upcycled furniture and homewares from Bella’s Gone Home in Notting Hill.

The Sub Couture team are planning to open the week of July 6th with a special golden ticket promotion which will see one lucky winner receiving a £300 voucher to spend in store, on stylish brands including Suzy D, Onjenu, Dream, Oneseason and Victoria Plimsols.

Louise said: “We are really excited to be launching our new Stroud store next month – we have got some fabulous fashion brands as well as our stunning range from Bella’s Gone Home. There’s been so much interest from people in the town while we’ve been busy getting the shop ready – we really can’t wait to open our doors now.

“We had originally planned to open in March and obviously plans had to change and we’re now organising our socially distanced launch during the week of July 6th.

“We are aiming to bring a little bit of Notting Hill but with a Stroud twist, this really is a fantastic town and we’re excited to be part of its regeneration.”

Dionne Moore, Centre Manager for Five Valleys said: “The store looks really fantastic and is going to be a great addition to our Five Valleys line up.

“It’s an exciting time for the centre just now – soon after Sub Couture opens we’ll be welcoming our first traders who will be opening up in our new Market area at Five Valleys.”
