New sushi bar to open in Stroud

Kyuri Sushi is the latest trader to join the Five Valleys indoor market, bringing a wide range of authentic Japanese and Korean food to the offering.
The menu will consist of fresh sushi, Korean dishes such as bulgogi (marinated thin slices of beef) served with vegetables and rice and the ultimate in comfort food, bibimbap, a bowl of steamed rice, sautéed vegetables and a fried egg – all prepared freshly on site every day.
An assorted range of side dishes will also be available including succulent marinated mixed seaweed, kimchi and pickled radish. In addition, there will also be a range of much-loved traditional rice cakes, catering to everybody’s taste.
At the new sushi bar, the menu will be made using the freshest ingredients and will be artfully prepared by the outstanding sushi chef, Bong Su Cha.
Bong Su has always had a passion for food, first learning the craft of authentic Korean dishes in his mother’s kitchen. Ever since, he has always prepared fresh food for his family and has been looking for the perfect opportunity to realise his true passion and open his own sushi bar.
About his new venture, Bong Su said: “I am delighted to be joining the fantastic traders at the Five Valleys Market, a place that has become a real unique food hub for the area.
“I have always had a huge passion for high quality, freshly made authentic food and I am really looking forward to introducing my menu to the food lovers of Stroud!”
