Pop up handmade furniture shop returns to Five Valleys for one weekend only

27 June 2023

Popular locally hand-crafted furniture pieces and home accessories will once again be on sale from Five Valleys shopping centre.

Back by popular demand for this weekend only (June 30, July 1 & 2] these one-off wooden pieces will be available in a pop-up location opposite Wilko for shoppers to browse.

The beautiful teak furniture range will include chairs, tables, and relaxed seating. A range of accessories will also be on display from dream catchers, carved mushrooms and large buddha garden ornaments.

The pop-up shop will be open from 10am until 4pm and will have pieces suitable for every budget ranging from £5 to £500.

Centre Manager at Five Valleys, Jack Simpson, said: “We know how popular these pieces are in Stroud and with every item designed and made individually, we urge shoppers to get in quick to snap up their chosen pieces for the home.”

The centre is also hosting live music this Friday when the market stays open late until 8:30pm. Local acoustic musician, Eddy Allen, will be providing entertainment for diners and those taking advantage of doing a leisurely evening food shop at the centre’s artisan food market.

Free family games will be available on the centre’s Courtyard on both Saturday and Sunday, including table tennis, football and other light-hearted games for families to get involved with whilst taking a break from retail therapy.

Five Valleys is also celebrating National Independents Day with a range of the centre’s artisan traders and indie shops offering special offers starting this weekend.
