Stroud Social to take place this week!

Set to take place this weekend (the 16th/17th of October) on the temporarily pedestrianised King Street, the Stroud Social is a brand new event which promises a jam-packed line up of live entertainment, street food and much more!
A cookery theatre will be hosting live demonstrations
from various local chefs between 11am -4pm on Saturday and 12am -3pm on Sunday.
With local, independent hospitality owners such as “Non Solo pasta”, “Oh
Crepe”, “Thai2Go” and “Fat Toni’s” giving complementary tasters of their
bestselling dishes!
Visitors can enjoy live music from The Jazz-Friday Big
Band, D’Artagnan Arbuah and the Stanley Strummers on Saturday, with the Stroud
College Band and Cheltenham’s own Dan Lewis taking to the Stage on Sunday.
A large communal seating area will also be provided so
you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
The Stroud Social will also feature a Kiddie Corner complete
with board games and a colouring competition with the chance to win a ‘mini
mornings experience for 4’ at VUE cinema!
Stroud’s live arts and
entertainment venue, the Sub Rooms, will also be hosting a range of live
performances across the weekend from Henge, The Fairport convention and
Shlomo’s Beatbox adventures for Kids, all alongside their central market on the
Forecourt.
