Warren breaks the habit with new Five Valleys business venture!

22 May 2023

A new and exciting foodie business has just opened at the Five Valley’s food market in Stroud.

The new business is called ‘Breaking The Habit’ and sells a variety of fresh doughnuts and bagels - introducing something different to the traditional lunchtime options.

Breaking The Habit provides delicious hand baked doughnuts, ranging from the classic sugar and glazed doughnuts to the more indulgent flavours such as Oreo and Biscoff.

For those with more of a savoury tooth, the unit will also be serving New York Style Bagels with a selection of fillings including deli style meats and cheeses.

Warren Emery, owner of Breaking The Habit, has been in the hospitality industry for over 13 years, having previously worked at The BBQ Society and as a Manager for Curio Lounge before taking his career into his own hands and starting his own business.

Warren said: “I am so excited to start this new venture in setting up my own business. I have worked in Stroud for over four years, so I know the area and people well and really enjoy working here.”

“I believe that my business offers something completely different to the rest of the Five Valleys Market offer and really complements what is already here - I hope to continue bringing new and exciting products to the menu.”

Warren plans on adding and changing new flavours and products weekly. He’ll use customer feedback from  the market and from social media to guide the menus, giving customers the chance to have their say on what they want to see next in the shop.

Jack Simpson, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “It is always great to see someone start their own business venture and we are just delighted that Warren has chosen Five Valleys to start his exciting new chapter.”

“I am sure his new business will be very popular with shoppers, and we all wish him the very best of luck.”

There are lots of new businesses on their way to Five Valleys, so keep an eye on our website for more new announcements as the market's gourmet food offer expands.
