Grilled Halloumi Skewers

  • 1 block of halloumi cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper
  • Skewers


  1. Get your BBQ to a medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. Thread the halloumi cheese, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  4. Brush the skewers with the olive oil mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the cheese is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot.
