Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Get your BBQ to a medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the honey mustard marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken, making sure it is evenly coated.
  4. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  6. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked in the centre.
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
