How to spend the perfect Valentine's evening at Five Valleys

by the Centre Management Team at Five Valleys

Keeping date night interesting is always a challenge and so much emphasis is placed on having a super romantic evening on the 14th February - Valentine's Day.

We're here to give you some ideas on what you may be able to do at home or our at Five Valleys to ensure that Valentine's Day this year is a huge hit, whether you are spending it with your partner or best mate.

Go Bowling

If you visit Stroud Bowl you can do more than hit the lanes. Set a few hours aside and get competitive on the pool tables, amusements as well as showing off your skills on the lanes - don't worry if you have no skills just bumper up! The bowl offers a game from as low as 4 all day on Tuesday and just a fiver on Friday so it's a really cost effective and fun way to spend time with your Valentine.

Dine with us

The indoor food market has a vast array of casual street food options for those wanting to enjoy a meal together this Valentine's week. Choose from a juicy burger, Thai noodle dish, sushi or some Indian street food that can be enjoyed on the spot during the day or until 8pm on Friday whilst enjoying some live music!

If you fancy rustling up your own dish at home pop to Knights for fresh, locally produced meat, fish and veg and Armadeli for that indulgent cheese board and bottle of fizz.

Non-Solo Pasta can supply a starter of their famous Arancini and a beautiful pastry or selection of macarons can be picked up from Choux Bun Appetit (within Sandersons department store) for a wow factor dessert - you can rustle up a three course meal in no time from everything at Five Valleys that will impress any date.

And don't forget our on site restaurants too!

Fat Toni's Pizzeria offer the best pizzas in town with their signature chewy sourdough bases, generous toppings and own recipe tomato sauce. An impressive cocktail menu can be sampled and they are ideally located next door to VUE to round off the night.

Watch a film

Whether you're a hopeless romantic, thrill seeker or want a big laugh there's a film for you on at VUE next week. Bob Marley: One Love releases on Valentine's Day so why not share a big bucket of popcorn or some Pick N Mix, sit back and escape - bookings made online are also 1 cheaper oer person.
