Children's Festival comes to Five Valleys

The team at Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud is hosting a special festival aimed at young children and families this Friday and Saturday [Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July].
The two-day free festival will be held throughout the indoor market area and at the centre's new outdoor courtyard with activities, fun and games to kick off the summer holidays.
From 11am until 2pm on Friday kids entertainers, Non Stopkidz, will be performing magic and balloon modelling for youngsters along with hosting plenty more free activities.
On Saturday there will be appearances from two princess characters from the popular Disney films Frozen and Sleeping Beauty.
Across the two days giant Lego, outdoor games and even soft play will be set out in the courtyard for all to enjoy with free face painting also on offer.
Businesses are also getting in on the action with independent gift and homeware store, Victoria R, hosting a clay modelling and painting workshop and the street food traders in the market offering a special children's menu.
Centre Manager at Five Valleys, Jack Simpson, said: "We're thrilled to be hosting our first Children's Festival at the centre - what better way to mark the start of the summer holidays.
"Our indoor market and street food selection is such a popular choice for our young foodies so we've already seen a spike in footfall since schools have broken up."
The centre also hosts a Sunday Funday campaign weekly with shops and the market open from 11am until 3pm and special offers running at Stroud Bowl for a family ticket and Vue showing children's films at 10am for just £2.49 for a ticket if booked online.
The Children's Festival kicks off a packed events programme for the summer with character meet and greets with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the centre the following week on August 4 and 5.
