Fashion line up unveiled at Stroud’s new department store

8 March 2021

The team behind the award-winning retail concept, Sandersons Boutique, are working with some of the UK and Europe’s leading fashion brands to create a fabulous offering of both men’s and womenswear for Stroud.

The fit-out team are currently transforming a 15,295 sq. ft. unit at the recently redeveloped Five Valleys shopping centre in Stroud which will house the third Sandersons store - sister stores can be found in Sheffield and Morpeth.

And when the doors open on 14th April, customers will be able to shop new season arrivals from Ugg, Barbour and Barbour International as well as other top brands including Tommy Hilfiger and a stunning womenswear range from Max Mara.

Other menswear brands which will be part of the store’s fashion line up will include the iconic Jacob Cohen Jeans range and Gran Sasso from the Abruzzo region of central Italy.

The store is also collaborating with the Gloucestershire based classic British heritage brand Holland Cooper.  The womenswear brand was founded in 2008 by Jade Holland Cooper and is synonymous with luxury and tailored elegance.

Sandersons will stock both the equestrian and fashion ranges in a bespoke branded area in the new store.

Speaking about the new Sandersons Store, Jade Holland Cooper said: “For many consumers, the main reason to make purchases in-store is the opportunity to experience the product, it creates emotion, brand connection and loyalty.

At Holland Cooper we are proud to be part of the luxury offering at Sanderson’s new department store. British Made tailoring, equestrian excellence, and our stylish loungewear collection complete the HC wardrobe, and is perfect for city to country living.  A fantastic Cotswold destination for both locals and visitors alike, I can’t wait to visit!”

The first Sanderson store was created in 2016 by the late Deborah Holmes at Fox Valley in north Sheffield, with a focus on bringing brands closer to the customer with a small boutique department store format. Her husband, Mark Dransfield, now leads the Sandersons team and expansion plans.

Mark said: “Retail is all about relationships- the relationship we have with our customers and of course the relationship we have with the brands we work with, which is so important to running a successful store.

“We are delighted to be opening our third Sandersons store with such a strong fashion line here in Stroud and for those brands to share our vision for the store’s success.

“I think we have the right mix of fashion for the area and it’s great to be working with Holland Cooper which is of course a fantastic local company.  Their collection is really popular in our other stores and we are confident they’ll be a brilliant addition in the new Sandersons store here in their home county.”

Sandersons will also house a range of skincare and a luxury perfumery department as well as a homewares from the Notting Hill based Bella’s Gone Home. The store is scheduled to open on April 14th.
