Festive Cheer as Five Valleys team get ready for Christmas Lights Switch-On

The countdown to Christmas in Stroud officially begins on Friday (21st November), when Five Valleys hosts the Christmas Lights Switch-On, proudly sponsored by Montpellier Legal, multi award winning Gloucestershire Conveyancing firm.
The festive fun runs from 6pm to 8pm, with the big switch-on at 6:15pm by TV Motoring Presenter and Montpellier Legal COO Nick Ponting, lighting up the centre with sparkling seasonal magic. Broadcaster and presenter Faye Hatcher will be leading the countdown.
Visitors can enjoy a late-night food market, festive treats from local traders, and a special meet-and-greet with favourite Christmas characters as well as entertainment in the Food Hall - perfect for families and children to enjoy some festive fun.
Christmas decorations have been installed across the centre, including the stunning garlands along the upper mall area where the lights switch on will take place.
Assistant Centre Manager Mollie Phillips said: “The lights switch-on is always one of our favourite events of the year. It’s a brilliant way to bring the community together, support our local traders, and celebrate the start of the festive season.”
