Five Valleys launches ‘Draw Your Dad!’ competition to celebrate Father’s Day

The Five Valleys team is putting local dads in the artistic spotlight with the return of the popular ‘Draw Your Dad’ competition.

The competition encourages youngsters to create their own artistic interpretation of their dad, giving local children the chance to win a special hamper full of goodies to gift to their dad this Father’s Day.

To enter, children are asked to create their own portrait of their dad or father figure, accompanied by a short message explaining why he is so special.

Children wishing to take part can pick up an entry sheet at Pop & Pup. Completed entries can then be dropped back at the store by Saturday, June 20th.

All entrants must provide their name, age, and a parental contact telephone number.

Entries will be judged by the Five Valleys centre management team and will be displayed at the centre.

The winner will be announced on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21st.

Assistant Centre Manager, Mollie Phillips said: “Draw Your Dad is such a lovely way for children to celebrate their dads and show just how much they mean to them. We can’t wait to see all the fantastic drawings and messages from local youngsters this year.”
