New parking charges announced for film fans

27 November 2019

The team at Stroud’s Five Valleys Shopping Centre have linked with the centre’s Vue cinema to offer film fans a special evening parking rate.

The town centre cinema has six screen and more than 790 seats and is easily accessed from the Five Valley’s multi storey car park which is undergoing a major programme of improvements as part of the redevelopment at the centre.

The Five Valleys team have now launched a new evening incentive for people visiting the cinema or the towns restaurants so they can park for just 50p from the hours of 5pm to 12pm and just £1.50 to park from 5pm to 8am the following morning.

Centre Manager at Five Valleys Dionne Moore said: “We’re so lucky to have this great six screen cinema here in the centre of Stroud and we want to make sure customers can use this great facility as cost effectively as possible, therefore we’re introducing these new charges with immediate effect.

“We also have a special rate for customers who want to leave their car overnight if they decide to go for a meal and a drink after watching a film.”

The cinema will be screening Frozen 2 from Friday November 22nd and is also showing Last Christmas at the moment.  The Vue also hosts regular Big Screen Theatre events. For details visit www.myvue.com/cinema/stroud/whats-on
