Stroud Toy Shop rebrands to mark the start of a new chapter

Stroud’s much-loved independent toy shop, Ducklings, has rebranded with a fresh new look and name to reflect a change in ownership and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The store, which relocated to the Five Valleys Shopping Centre in October last year, has become a popular destination for shoppers seeking quality toys, games, and collectibles.
Now, under the ownership of Josh Pattison, the store has unveiled its new identity: Pop and Pup Toy Shop.
The rebrand includes updated signage and branding, all designed to reflect the shop’s evolving vision while continuing the legacy of a family-run business that has long been part of the Stroud community.
Since moving to Five Valleys, Pop and Pup has doubled its retail space and introduced an expanded product range, a packed calendar of events, and a stronger focus on seasonal offerings—all designed to enhance the customer experience.
Located in the main mall area of the shopping centre, the shop offers a carefully curated selection of toys, games, collector’s items, and seasonal favourites in a spacious and welcoming setting. Best sellers at the Stroud store are Lego, Pokémon and plush toys.
Regular events such as product launches and the popular Pokémon Swap Sessions have helped cement Pop and Pup’s place as a vibrant hub for local families and collectors alike.

The store opens seven days a week with late opening on a Friday until 8pm to run trading card events such as Pokémon and Magic the Gathering.
